Fight the recession

The easiest way to fight the recession in the economy is to have a no.2 source of income.

The source should slowly and steadily bring in an additional income equivalent to your present income. And this should be possible with your least effort and involvement.

This is not possible with a part-time additional job, unless you are an expert at something.

So, the way out is a part-time business. While choosing a business you should think of the following points:

1. Investment: Your investment should be less than your one month's salary. This way you are not at a high risk.

2. Product: It is always better to go for products and services of a good company.

3. Logistics: Every product has its own logistics of storing, packaging and delivering. However, there are some internet based technology services where the logistics are almost nil.

4. Expertise: No business shall turn into profit, unless you have some kind of expertise in it. However, there are some businesses which can be done with the expertise of others and you need not be an expert.

5. Social networking: We spend lot of time on orkut, facebook, hi5, linkedin, etc. Don't you think it is high time to start earning through social networking.
